Norman is an 10-MONTH-OLD male 12 lb. red and white parti Pekingese. This little guy is super sweet and he LOVES being with his people. He is very playful and has learned how to play with toys and chew on nylabones.

When he arrived he clearly had not had much socialization but he is learning the ropes from the other pups in his foster home. He has a TON of energy and loves to run around the yard with the other pups.

He did know a crate (a little too well, sadly) and does eat his meals in his crate and sleeps without fussing. He has also been learning basic commands and etiquette. This should be continued so he can master his manners. He is very smart and learns very fast. So consistency will go a long way with him.

Norman has been brought UTD, neutered, he is HW negative, and housebroken and also knows how to use potty pads.

Given his energy level, a fenced in yard is a requirement. He can definitely be an “only dog” home but can live with other pups too. He does love to play so another furry friend of the same energy level for him to play with would be great. Also, breed experience is preferred and will be prioritized.

PLEASE no phone calls and PLEASE give your vet office permission to speak with rescues if you are applying to adopt from any rescue. If they will not speak with me I will move on to the next application.
